The Ridgeview Charter School Foundation is a parent-run, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation formed to support Ridgeview's sports and music programs. At RCS, 70% of students participate in the music program (band, orchestra, or chorus), as compared to 30% average participation at other Fulton County middle schools. And, 35% of our students participate in Foundation-funded sports. By enhancing the school's sports and music programs, the RCS Foundation gives students the needed balance between academics, creativity, and physical growth.
The Foundation provides funding for:
- Sports: Coach stipends, officials, resource officers and equipment. Uniforms for Soccer, Cross Country, Volleyball, Softball, Basketball and Baseball. These sports receive no County funding.
- Music Department: Festival fees, travel expenses, equipment, chorale accompanist, and percussionist.
- Jazz Band: Conductor and instrument-specific instructional support.
- Spring Musical: Sound technician and other support
These programs can only exist with your financial support. Please ask for an envelope at the front office, donate on-line using the link provided, or mail in a check to RCS Foundation 5340 South Trimble Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30342.
Thank you for sustaining these athletic and music opportunities for our students!
