Screen Shot 2019-06-07 at 9.51.19 PM.png

  • All students are required to wear uniforms to school every day. Uniform points are provided during the homeroom block daily.
  • The standard school uniform consists of a polo top and khaki shorts or pants.
  • Uniforms are worn on Monday-Thursday.
  • To alleviate re-purchasing uniforms each year, we will adhere to the three year uniform trend.
  • Sixth Grade: Gray/Khaki
  • Seventh Grade: Royal Blue/Khaki
  • Eighth Grade: Black /Khaki
  • Jeans are allowed to be worn with uniforms (no ripped or frayed jeans)
  • Every Friday is Spirit Wear and Free Dress Day *Students are permitted to dress out of uniforms on Friday. All students are expected to adhere to the dress code, which is strictly enforced. (No shredded, ripped or frayed jeans are allowed)

The school opens at 8:25 AM daily. Please do not drop off your child before 8:25 AM as there is no staff supervision of students prior to this time.  If your child is attending morning tutorial or any other morning activity, please be sure they have a pass from the teacher and they will be admitted into the building before 8:25 AM.

Early checkout ends daily at 3:30 PM. Please pick up your child by 4:05 PM unless he/she is participating in an approved tutoring session or after school activity. Students must be picked up by 5:30 PM if they stay after school for tutorial or other activities.

Childcare is available before and after school through APEC at Sandtown MS. Please call or visit the main office for more information.

It is the student's responsibility to check the front office/lobby white board for all forgotten items (homework, lunch, lunch money, books, etc.). The office WILL NOT interrupt classes to notify a student that an item is at the school. Parents may drop off the item in the front office, place the student’s name on the white board in front of the cafeteria and the student will either check the office between classes or see their name on the white board at lunch.
