8th Grade Trips
In connection with the study of Georgia History, the 8th grade class will have a choice of two different field trip options this year. Students may choose to take an overnight field trip to Savannah, Georgia – or students may choose to stay in Atlanta for day trips on both Thursday and Friday.
The cost of the overnight trip is $235.00; the day trip cost is $200.00.
The date for either option is May 3-4, 2018 (Thursday-Friday). We will be traveling by motor coach and will have adult chaperones, all of whom are Taylor Road MS employees.
The fees for the trips will be collected at TRMS on March 2nd during 8th grade lunch. If you wish to discuss payment options, please contact Mr. Parker at 470-254-8698 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Our intent to is have ALL 8th grade students participating in either the overnight or day trips.
We feel that while all students are encouraged to attend and would benefit from this activity, attendance is not required and in no way will affect the student's instruction and/or evaluation should that child not be allowed to participate.
We reserve the right to cancel this trip if sufficient money is not available to cover all costs.
Please return the permission form attached to your child's HR teacher before the payment collection date of March 2.
