Webb Bridge Middle School has benefited from the strong support of its parents through the PTA, the Local School Advisory Committee (LSAC), the School Based Planning and Evaluation Committee, and membership on systemwide committees.
The PTA was established and active before the school doors opened. Its members have been strong advocates for our children through their many programs. PTA volunteers have helped in the media center, front office, and clinic. They have assisted at the book fair, operated the school store, coordinated the landscaping and recycling plans, helped with the mock election, spearheaded the spirit wear campaign, and prepared teacher appreciation luncheons. Their tireless efforts have not only enriched the school, but have also helped to unite the teachers, parents, and students around the theme, "Together Everyone Achieves More".
The Local School Advisory Committee, comprised of parents, educators, and business leaders, meets regularly to discuss schoolwide issues. The School Based Planning and Evaluation Team and the school's leadership team also meet to set school goals and make plans for the future.
Webb Bridge Middle School’s business partners have donated products, volunteers, and financial support to assist the school. The utilization of volunteers and the exchange of ideas between the community and the school will be strengthened as the school grows.
Although Webb Bridge has a strong foundation of client involvement, the school community would strongly benefit from building on that base. Future plans include increasing the variety of school-sponsored family activities and entering into partnerships with other local businesses.
