Welcome to the

Abbotts Hill Learning Commons!

To view the Learning Commons website and discover many exciting resources and useful information, click on the link below:

Our Learning Commons is open to students and parents before school and throughout each school day.  Classes visit the Leaning Commons regularly for literacy and digital citizenship instruction.  Students use the Learning Commons for research and to engage in technology lessons that align with grade level standards.  Individual students and small groups are invited to borrow books daily, conduct research, and pursue their own personal interests through use of our resources.

  • Students in Grades K and  1 may check out 1 book at a time for up to 2 weeks
  • Students in Grades 2 through 5 may check out 2 books at a time for up to 2 weeks
  • Parents and guardians may check out up to 10 books at a time for up to 2 weeks
Books may also be returned or renewed at any time within the two week period

Lost Book Policy - Students' check out privileges will be suspended until all books are either returned to the Learning Commons or are paid for.  Refunds will not be provided for fines that were paid for lost books that are returned after the school year ends.
