Parents are welcome too!  Please visit us and we'll be happy to help you find "just right" books for your children.  We encourage all parents to open a parent account - check out ten books at a time!



​All of our ebooks and online resources (BrainPOP, Tumblebooks,​ PebbleGo, Galileo, Facts for Me, kid-friendly search sites, and MORE!) are available on one platform called MackinVia.  

You can access it all using your student ID (lunch card number) and your birthday password (mmddyyyy).

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP:  The Media Center is dedicated to teaching our students how to use the Internet safely, ethically, and responsibly.  Visit Common Sense Media for tools that you can use at home to further support these goals.

Book Adventure is a fun, free way to motivate your child to read! Kids in grades K-8 can find a book, take quizzes on what they've read, track their progress, and earn prizes for their reading success.  www.bookadventure.com.

Our Mission

The mission of the library media program of the Fulton County School System is to promote literacy and the effective use of ideas and information for students and staff. To this end, Media Services has th​e leadership responsibility for the following:

  • To develop K-12 media center collections with print/non-print resources and technology in a variety of formats that support the adopted Fulton County School curriculum

  • To advocate the integration of learning activities across all content areas

  • To encourage collaboration between the media center staff and the instructional staff for the development, implementation and evaluation of quality learning activities which increase student achievement, and

  • To offer quality staff development activities which support continuous professional development and growth for media center staff.

Circulation Information

Media Center hours for student checkout are from 7:15 AM to 2:15.

Students may exchange books daily between these hours.

For students accompanied by parents, the Media Center remains open until 2:45.

Students may check out 2 items for 2 weeks.  Pre-K may checkout 1 book for 2 weeks.

Parent patrons may check out 10 items per family.

We have a large, current collection of fiction, nonfiction, and e-books.   ​
