Tri Cities High School Surface Device Information

Tri Cities high School is happy to announce that we are providing Surface Pro Devices to all students who have an Agreement form on file. The Surface Device will be used as a way to both engage, promote and differentiate academic classwork.
Tri Cities High School students can pay for all device related issues including repairs, lost/stolen and device accessories at Technology Fees .
TCHS will issue an electronic device and a charger to your child to use for curriculum and instruction. Students are responsible for these items both on and off campus. Students are prohibited from upgrading the Surface Pro Device system or making any changes to the configuration of the device.
Students and parents will sign contracts for terms of use and be held responsible for any fees associated with damage or loss of the devices. This year, parents are required to show a picture identification and sign the permission slip for a student issued device in person.
Students in need of a device after 8/30/18 may pick up a device each Friday during lunch in the media center. Please see the posted information in the media center.
Students are expected to attend school with the device fully charged each day. If a device is lost, stolen or damaged the fees are as follows:

Fulton County Schools has looked into insurance companies that have been popular with families and confirmed that as of June 2016, WORTH AVE GROUP uses authorized repair centers for all of our devices. This may be an option at your discretion for families with insurance needs for the Surface Device Pro.
