HBMS Visitor, Volunteer, and

Check out Procedures

We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming to everyone who enters our building. But, as much as we try to personally know every person, we have hundreds of students with hundreds of family members. This means we may not always recognize every person who visits our school, so please be patient and understanding if it takes a little more time to determine who you are. Our goal is to account for all visitors/volunteers in our building so that we can maximize safety for students and staff.

  1. All parents/visitors/volunteers must report to the office upon arrival.
  2. Be prepared to show your photo ID.
  3. Parents/visitors/volunteers must be issued a badge from the office prior to entering any location in the building.
  4. Only the persons listed as "Guardian" can check out a student from school. Emergency contacts or other non-guardians will only be allowed to check out for a true emergency OR with specific consent from a guardian.

Thank you for helping us continue the safe environment we have worked hard to maintain!

CCRPI SURVEY Image result for survey

The College and Career Ready Performance Index-CCRPI- is Georgia's annual tool for measuring how well its schools, districts, and the state itself are preparing students for the next educational level.   It also provides a comprehensive roadmap to help educators, parents and community members promote and improve college and career readiness for all students.

The CCRPI includes five main components, each scored on a scale of 0-100.  Achievment, Progress, Closing Gaps, Readiness and Graduation Rate (High School Only.)  These components, encompassing, multiple indicators, are combined for a total CCRPI score on a scale of 0-100.  www.gadoe.org

2018-2019 BELL SCHEDULE

HOME ACCESS CENTER (HAC)

When you are viewing grades in the Home Access Center, please pay attention to the drop down window that allows you to choose which "run" you would like to view. Please be sure to select "All Runs" if you want to see the average for the semester. If you choose "1" or "2," it will only calculate the grade for that grading period. Since grades for non-Connections courses are calculated by semester, not quarter, "All Runs" will give you the correct average.collage.png
